About
A mobile auto glass company that works across DFW
Glass Genie replaces and repairs vehicle glass across Dallas and the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex. We come to the vehicle rather than asking you to bring it in, and windshield replacement is the bulk of what we do.
How we work
Three things we do differently
We quote from the VIN
Year, make and model do not identify your windshield — trim does. Quoting without the VIN means quoting the cheapest variant and revising later. We would rather spend two minutes getting it right so the number does not move.
We treat calibration as part of the job
If your vehicle has a camera behind the mirror, replacing the glass moves it. We recalibrate and give you the post-calibration scan report, because a dashboard with no warning light is not evidence that the safety systems were verified.
We tell you when the cheaper answer is the right one
A repairable chip is a fraction of the cost of a replacement and is often free under insurance. If that is what you have, we will say so. It is a worse sale and a better outcome.

How the guides on this site are written
The guides are written by the Glass Genie team. Where a guide makes a technical, safety or regulatory claim, the sources are listed at the foot of the article so you can check them.
We do not invent named authors or credentials. Where a guide names a reviewer, that person has read and approved it.

Tell us what happened to your glass
Send the VIN and a photo and we will come back with a real number — the glass your vehicle actually takes, whether it needs camera recalibration, and when we can be there.
