Mobile auto glass service across DFW
A technician, the correct glass and the tooling come to your address — home, workplace or wherever the vehicle is sitting — instead of you driving damaged glass across the Metroplex.

Mobile service exists because the alternative is bad. Driving a vehicle with a spreading crack across the Metroplex to sit in a waiting room is a poor use of your day and, depending on the damage, questionable to begin with.
It is worth being straight about the limits, though. Mobile work is genuinely better for most jobs and genuinely worse for a few. A shop that claims everything can be done in your driveway is not being honest about static ADAS calibration or about what rain does to urethane.
Is this you?
When you need mobile auto glass
- The vehicle is at home, at work, or in a car park and you would rather not move it.
- The damage makes driving unwise or illegal.
- You cannot spare the round trip and the wait.
- A fleet has several vehicles at one site and moving them individually makes no sense.
What actually happens
The job, step by step
No mystery and no jargon for its own sake. This is what a technician does and why each step matters.
Quote from the vehicle details
VIN, photos and your ZIP code. The glass is identified and ordered before anyone is dispatched, because arriving with the wrong part wastes your morning.
Schedule against a real arrival window
You get a window rather than a vague promise, plus a call when the technician is en route.
Site check on arrival
A level parking space with room to open the doors fully and work around the front of the vehicle. Shade or cover is a bonus. Overhead cover is a requirement if the weather turns.
The work itself
Identical to shop work — same adhesive systems, same procedure, same standards. The van carries the glass, the urethane, the primers and the tooling.
Cure before you drive
On a bonded replacement the vehicle stays put until the adhesive reaches safe drive-away strength. The advantage of mobile work is that you spend that interval doing something else.
Calibration, or a plan for it
Dynamic calibration can often be completed from your location. If the vehicle needs a static procedure, we tell you before the appointment, not during it.
Transparent pricing
What moves the price
We do not publish a fixed price, because there is not one. These are the variables that decide your quote.
- Distance within the service area
- Travel across the Metroplex is real time. Outlying areas may carry different scheduling or availability.
- Site suitability
- A job that cannot be completed where the vehicle is parked may need relocating, which changes the plan.
- Weather on the day
- Rain and high wind compromise a bonded installation. Rescheduling is cheaper than a leaking windshield.
- Whether calibration can be done on site
- A static calibration requirement changes where at least part of the job happens.
How long it takes
Add travel and setup to the job time. A mobile chip repair is often quicker end-to-end than driving to a shop. A mobile replacement takes the same fitting time as a shop, plus the cure — which you spend at your desk rather than in a waiting room.
Mobile service
This is the mobile service page, so the whole page is the answer. What matters is the site: level ground, room to work around the vehicle, and cover if it rains.
Before you call
What to send for an accurate quote
Five minutes gathering this saves a revised quote later.
- 01The VIN.
- 02Photos of the damage.
- 03The exact address and what the parking is like — driveway, street, structured garage, office lot.
- 04Whether the space is covered.
- 05When the vehicle is going to be there.
Questions we actually get asked
Is mobile installation as good as shop installation?
For most jobs, yes — same adhesive, same procedure, same technician standards. The genuine exceptions are weather and static ADAS calibration. A bonded installation should not be done in the rain, and a static calibration needs controlled conditions a driveway cannot provide.
What do you need at my location?
A level parking space with enough room to open the doors fully and work around the front of the vehicle. Shade helps. If rain is forecast, covered parking turns a cancelled appointment into a completed one.
What if it rains?
Bonded glass work does not happen in the rain — water at the bond line is how leaks and adhesion failures start. If your parking is covered we can usually proceed. If not, we reschedule. We would rather move your appointment than install a windshield that leaks in October.
Can you come to my workplace?
Usually, provided the parking is suitable and your employer allows it. Office car parks are among the most common places we work, because the cure time costs you nothing while you are inside.
Do you charge extra for mobile service?
Mobile service is the normal way we work rather than a bolt-on. Distance and site conditions can affect scheduling and availability, and your quote will reflect the actual job. Ask when you book so there are no surprises.
Tell us what happened to your glass
Send the VIN and a photo and we will come back with a real number — the glass your vehicle actually takes, whether it needs camera recalibration, and when we can be there.
